They believed that the God of death, Samhain would come back to the humane's world with dead people at Octorber 31th. The Celts burnt the animals and offered them to Samhain. And the Celts were dressing up by the animals fur, let them looked like ghosts. And led the ghosts to leave. After thousand years until now, it becomes into masquerades. Today, the Halloween in America and Europe,

very good detetcive work. as you can see the holiday is rather old and has a lo of meaning. you actually only found one. In S Ameerica and Mexico there is another meaning. If you look around you could find a whole lot of information on halloween
